Some people are wondering if they have any skin in this game. The worst thing would be to have the wrong answer. by Rachel Coyne (Issue 1.1)

Radical Catalyst is a queer feminist art and literary journal committed to igniting change through the fusion of art, writing, and critical thought. We elevate voices that challenge the status quo, offering a platform for bold social and political critiques, feminist and queer theory, and compelling commentary on the urgent issues of our time. Through a diverse array of creative expressions—from art and poetry to opinion essays and short stories—we aim to fuel the transformative energy needed to shape a more just and equitable world.

At the intersection of art, literature, politics, & social justice.

Issue 1.1

Read Issue 1.1 of Radical Catalyst, a collection of unapologetic creative works following the theme of Resisting Authoritarianism. As authoritarian forces erode freedoms, silence diverse voices, and consolidate power, we offer a platform for those who refuse to stay silent. These are stories of survival and resistances, voices from the margins, historical reckonings, and radical visions of the future. These pieces unsettle, demand action, and challenge the status quo.
